Terms of Sale

Terms:

Payment terms are net 30 days O.A.C. from date of invoice. A service charge of 1.5% per month will be applied to all invoices outstanding after 30 days.

Minimum Order:

$50.00 Net. $15.00 service charge will be applied for less than minimum order. Prepaid freight $2,500.00. Case Pack only.

Return Conditions:

No merchandise is to be returned without authorization.
  1. Restocking charge will be 25% of returned merchandise invoice amount with a $25.00 minimum charge.
  2. Return shipment must be prepaid.
  3. Returns only accepted on current merchandise found to be in original cartons and in new and saleable condition.
  4. Authorization number must be on packing list.
  5. Unauthorized returns will be refused.
  6. Articles which have been made especially for you will not be accepted for exchange or return.

Damaged Merchandise and/or Shortages:

In the event of shortage or if damage is detected in a shipment, notify the delivering carrier at once to request an inspection and file a claim promptly.

Any delay may cause you a loss. Shortage or damage in shipment does not excuse the buyer from timely payment of invoice.

We cannot reimburse claims for shortages or delays caused by the carrier.

Apparent packing errors must be reported to us within 5 business days of merchandise received.

Warranty:

All products manufactured and sold by UNIWORLD are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase by the initial user or eighteen months from date of shipment from the factory or factory warehouse. Notice of claim under this warranty must be received by us in timely manner in order for warranty coverage of parts to apply. UNIWORLD cannot warrant products returned to our premises not properly package, causing additional damage.

This warranty shall only apply to the extent that products or parts have been used in conformance with operation and maintenance instructions, in the event of damage by accident, misuse or abuse, stress, altered and modified by third parties. In addition, this warranty does not cover normal wear and tear items, such as electrical parts (motors and switches), chopper knives, plates, slicing knives and cutting discs. In no event shall UNIWORLD be liable for loss of use, profit or revenue for indirect consequential damages.

Electric motors are subject to inspection in our plant or authorized service center. All other electrical components are subject to natural wear and tear, and are not covered by a guarantee.

Eventual repairs of replacements of defective parts are made free in our factory or service centers to which the machine is to be sent FREIGHT PREPAID.

Back Orders:

Back orders will be shipped as available, transportation charges prepaid when the original order meets the minimum prepaid amount. Back orders for less than $200.00 will be automatically cancelled.

We carefully check pricing and product specifications, but occasionally errors can occur, therefore we reserve the right to change both without notice. Some variations between picture and product may occur. Some items listed may be non-stock products.
